To the Editor:

Iran's search for nuclear technology is leading to more distrust from the West. Why? I understand that there is some bad blood between the West and Iran, but if they are going to be using uranium for a medical reactor, isn't that a good thing? Won't it keep Iran from converting it to weapons-grade plutonium? This is what the West wanted, a stop to possible nuclear weapons in Iran's hands. I agree that there needs to be sanctions on the use of uranium. I think all nations should be subject such sanctions.
